FREE family things to do in Colorado

Our goal when traveling is to try and find activities that are FREE to do with our children. For this blog I am focusing just on the Colorado Springs area. I will provide some useful information to help guide you to know where to go and what to do with your family! We have only been to a select few of these places so far but we hope to go to most of them during our stay in Colorado. Trust me I surely do not know everything there is to know about this city and I may not have all the free activities/places listed.  I have also listed a few awesome parks with playgrounds that will sure be a big hit for your kiddos! We love finding things to do that will wear their little bodies out, so that way they crash early and mommy and daddy get a quiet evening. 🙂 My hopes is that this list helps save your family time and energy trying to figure out what to do and it also be FREE! For our family, being able to do all these free things, allows us the opportunity to travel like we are. We have to be wise with every dollar we spend, and in this case SAVE! 🙂
